Vehicular Access And
Pedestrian Circulation

The Port of Brookings-Harbor enjoys easy access from Highway 101. From the South (California) a left-hand turn, at the Benham Lane traffic light, leads the driver onto Lower Harbor Road and to the southern end of the Port area.

From the north, Highway 101 signage is again limited, but does allow traffic to exit to Port property. The bridge crossing at the Chetco River allows adequate view of the Port to alert visitors of the approaching exit.

An alternate entry to Lower Harbor Road, Shopping Center Avenue runs adjacent to the Brookings Harbor Shopping Center, but does not directly connect with Highway 101. Oceanview Drive, also known as the Old Coast Highway, runs parallel to Highway 101and connects to Benham Lane and from there to Lower Harbor Road to the Port. There are seven access points directly onto Port property. The northern most entry features a directional/information sign portraying the services offered by the Port of Brookings Harbor.
